Top Day Out
Got driven around today by a superb gent, Englander of Argentine birth, to Lacock and Wells via Bradford-on-Avon. Overcast and sunny too in spots, most interesting. Cricket on the radio and some excellent chitterchatter along the way. Richard of Palmira executive chauffering got me from A to B around C flawlessly.
Here's hoping I can drive myself in the same quality manner.
Wonderful Wells cathedral without pointy spires on purpose apparently....looks kinda nude to me without, but whatever, it is still a glory.
How about that for internal buttressing, eh? Kinda freaky, you ask me...
...I mean, isn't that just the weirdest?
Back to home base - if you are wondering what the green blob is, that is the 200 or so year old magnolia which adorns the Royal Crescent Hotel, a top spot and recommended a heap by this happy guest.
this is a travesty of an injustice of a wreck that nearly brought me to tears....
...but how could I weep when Engerland seems to have a permanemt Porridge station on the telly.
Later doodles. I gotta see a man about a car.
