WARRANTLESS SEARCHES HAVE A HARDER TIME WHEN THE WARRANT IS...NOWHERE, AND NEW YEAR'S WISHES
I am in Oz. It is the first Monday in the newest year 2006. I could care less about the kerfuffle in the US with the New York Times and its transparent attempt to characterise the US government's National Security A...somethingorother warrantless searches of phonecalls and email etc by terror suspects into the US ever since 11 September 2001, as "domestic spying".
Ya, domestic spying...as in spying on domestic terror suspects.
Who in their right mind has a problem with that?
Anyhoo, suffering from a full on 24 hour wog - no joke - I cannot be sure if I heard this right or if I was in a chuckin' delirium, but get this: I think it was US ABC news, and the presenter introduces the first story and he goes:
Tonight on ABC news, the NSA domestic spying scandal deepens further to trouble the Bush government. Reports have surfaced that children have been targetted by the NSA...
....
Huh?
...
Pshha, ha, ha, hah...ahhh. Children.
Is there any other avenue for leftie scum to take to beat this thing up further?
Children, puhlease.
...
Terrorist children.
Whatever. Felice Anno Nouvo a tutti. All good things for 2006.
